People on the Move
To kick off the new year: Agency news, lobby hires, a Presidential appointment, and more
We are off and running in 2022.
From DFW to Houston, Central to South Texas, far
West Texas to the Piney Woods, and all points in between candidates are rolling
out endorsements, holding campaign events, and final touches are being put on
their first campaign finance reports of the cycle. You can count on a busy
first quarter of the year, especially after redistricting slashed the number of
seats that will be considered anything close to competitive in November. Most
of the real action shifts back to March now.
The dawning of the near year has also already brought
staffing changes in state agencies, the Speaker’s office, lobby shops and more.
If you’d like your career news – or someone else’s – to appear here in Quorum
Report, send it over to email@example.com
anytime and use “POTM” in the subject line so I don’t miss it.
Please and thank you.
