New state audit dings Texas Workforce Commission for lack of procedure for disaster contracts

A new report out from the State
Auditor’s Office suggests the Texas Workforce Commission
could have done a better job at documenting how it contracted services for
state unemployment benefits during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
